The essay focuses on \u201clegislative acts\u201d introduced by the Treaty of Lisbon as one of the four categories of binding acts. In particular it deals with the absence of hierarchy among EU legal acts and the relationship with the institutional equilibrium of the EU. The analysis is conceived as an attempt of applying to the sources of law of the EU some schemes and suggestions that are traditional to Italian constitutional law
